a Summer camp for changemakers
Are you a student who wants to be a part of a community creating real action for plant-based food systems and climate change? Do you want to learn about climate leadership, nonviolence and how we can transform our food systems?
You have the chance to join Plant-Based Campus’ FREE Summer Camp! We will be spending 16-19 July together just outside of Stockholm, Sweden, learning about how to build a movement whilst getting to know like-minded students across the Nordics! Read our FAQ below to learn more!

The Plant-Based Campus Summer Camp is a 4-day retreat focused on creating effective activists and leaders for plant-based food systems at educational institutions.
The camp consists of various workshops covering topics such as food systems, nonviolence, theories of change, lobbying, outreach, mobilisation, and media. Active participation in workshops is expected from all attendees.
There will also be plenty of time for relaxing and socialising, as well as activities such as yoga, baking, BBQs, banner painting, swimming, cross-country running and more!

The summer camp is from July 16 to July 19, 2026.

The Summer Camp will be held just outside Stockholm, Sweden.
The exact location will be sent to those who have confirmed their attendance. -
Anyone who is a student at a higher-education institution (e.g., university, polytech, högskola/høyskole) or will be a student after summer and is interested in joining/starting a Plant-Based Campus campaign after summer is welcome to join the Summer Camp!

We will have 70 indoor sleeping spaces and 30 camping spaces.
The location has indoor showers and toilets, and many places to hang out, both indoor and outdoor. There is access to a nearby lake, an outdoor gym, and an obstacle course.
Three meals will be served every day, and snacks are available all day. All food is free of charge. If you have allergies or need other accommodation, let us know.
The location has accessibility features for wheelchair users, including a wheelchair-accessible toilet and bedroom. -
Our organisation relies on donations and grants, and we appreciate any help covering travel costs.
However, if you are travelling from afar and your ticket is very expensive, we can cover part of the cost.
After you sign up, we will contact you to discuss your needs.
We do not cover airplane tickets unless you are travelling from a place where commercial boat travel is not available (e.g., Greenland, Iceland). -
We will be serving delicious, 100% plant-based foods for breakfast, lunch and dinner. In between, snacks, tea, coffee, and water will always be available.
We will also have special meals, such as a BBQ evening with vegan hot dogs and marshmallows.
All food served at the summer camp is free.You’re allowed to bring your own snacks to the camp, as long as they are 100% plant-based and nut-free (although we believe that the food we will provide will be more than enough😊).
